Louisville, UNLV Clash On Saturday

Posted on 24. Nov, 2009 in Betting

While there won’t be any Top 25 matchups this Saturday, there will be a fairly good matchup between one Top 20 team travelling on the road to face a fairly good non-conference foe.

The No. 16 Louisville Cardinals and head coach Rick Pitino will head to Las Vegas to face the UNLV Running Rebels. The Cardinals will have to keep an eye on Pitino to make sure he doesn’t get up to any shenanigans while they are in the sin city.

The Rebels won at Freedom Hall last year so the Cardinals will try to return the favor this year. Pitino’s boys are a very deep, talented squad. But don’t sleep on UNLV, who obviously know how to beat Louisville and who have a good squad themselves. This unit underachieved last Northbet.com wagering year, but they have the potential to win 20+ games.

Overall, expectations are a bit lower this year for UNLV while they are even higher for Louisville. On top of that, you have the talent and the motivation siding with Louisville.

While the Rebels will be at home, look for the Cardinals to really be focused in this game and outrun the Rebels in a good quality win.

Pick: Lousiville
